1Intermediary Platform Status

Dhoondo operates strictly as an intermediary technology platform (digital storefront and search engine) under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Dhoondo enables independent, third-party neighborhood physical retail merchants ("Sellers") to create digital catalogs and display their physical shop location to consumers ("Buyers").

2Product Quality, Authenticity & Warranties

Any transaction, agreement, or purchase made by a buyer with a seller is strictly a bilateral contract between the buyer and the respective physical shopkeeper:

• Pricing & Discounts: Selling prices and MRP are set independently by each store owner. Dhoondo does not guarantee that in-store counter prices will always match the online catalog in cases where a seller has not updated their listing.
• Authenticity & Condition: Verification of brand new, sealed, refurbished, or open-box merchandise must be done directly by the customer at the physical store counter prior to purchase.
• Manufacturer Warranty: All warranty claims, repairs, or replacements are subject to official manufacturer service centers and retailer receipts, not Dhoondo.

3Payments & Financial Transactions

Dhoondo does not process, hold, or escrow any payments between buyers and sellers for physical goods:

• Customers pay the store owner directly at the counter using Cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), or credit/debit card terminals provided by the merchant.
• The optional Pro subscription fee collected on Dhoondo (₹129/month or ₹1,499/year) is exclusively a SaaS software platform fee paid by the merchant for storefront hosting, verified catalog access, and promotional deal badges.

4Hyperlocal GPS Distance & Store Location

The 15 KM hyperlocal proximity search and distance indicators (e.g. "3.5 km away") are calculated using mathematical GPS formulas (Haversine formula) based on coordinates provided by the user's device browser and coordinates pinned by the shopkeeper. Dhoondo is not liable for minor variations caused by cellular network inaccuracies or urban street routing.

5Trademarks & Brand Copyrights

All brand names, product titles, trademarks, and logos (including but not limited to Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Boat, Nike, Adidas, etc.) referenced in Dhoondo's shared catalog belong exclusively to their respective trademark holders. Their mention on Dhoondo is solely for nominative fair use to describe and identify genuine products offered for retail sale by neighborhood merchants.
